  • You are requested to wear appropriate cloths when entering many temples including temples in Anuradhapura and tooth relic in Kandy. If you are wearing sleeveless and shorts make sure to take extra scarf or cloth with you to wear when visiting temples.
  • Photography might not allow in the temples and monuments.
  • Sri Lankan foods are hot and spicy.
  • As you cover many district in this tour, depend on your time of travel you might find rain in some areas.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Colombo

Upon arrival, when you leave the airport terminal please look for your tour guide displaying a signboard with your name.

Day 2Colombo - Wilpattu

Begin the tour from the largest and the oldest national park of Sri Lanka, Wilpattu National Park. A 4×4 safari jeep will take you around this scenic park.Wilpattu is among the top national parks world-renowned for its leopard  population. A unique feature of Wilpattu national park is that the entire park is dotted with large sand rimmed natural lakes known as “Villus”. The Villus collects rain water and tends to attract wildlife especially during the times of drought.Animals found within the Wilpattu National Park are the elephants, sloth bear, leopard, water buffalo, Sāmbhar, spotted dear and mongoose

Day 3Wilpattu - Jaffna

Wake up to the sound of nature. Today you are going to visit Jaffna in Northern Province. The city is opened for tourist since 2009 after the 30years of civil war. So, be aware of causes of ruins of civil war. Also you will be witness the influences of south indian culture too. If you are a food lover then don’t forget to taste some incredible signature dishes of Jaffna people’s.
Visit Naga deepa Buddhist Temple, Nainatheevu Naga Poosanai Amman Hindu Temple in the afternoon.

Day 4In Jaffna

Today schedule is to explore the city of Jaffna and surrounding. While exploring the city don’t forget to discover the friendly people who are willing to share their stories with warm welcome. Sightseeing today includes the Point Pedro Light House, the northern most point of Sri Lanka, Kandadorai Temple (Helmet shaped small pagodas), archeological monuments of King Sankili II, Jaffna Fort, Public Library, Clock Tower and the local fish market (Pannai public market), Keeramali Hotsprings, Maruthanamadam Anjaneyar Temple and Nilavarai Bottomless Well

Day 5Jaffna - Naliaveli

Today you’re going to Drive to Nilaveli via elephant pass. Nilaveli beach is one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka. White pearly sands beach, gentle surf , pigeon island in sea from 2 km distance and lush coconut palms beautifully blends together to bring you the magic . evening relax by the beach and enjoy the view.

Day 7NIlaveli - Anuradhapura

After breakfast you’ll head to Sri Lanka’s first capital Anuradhapura, now the capital of north central province. This scenic, peaceful countryside where massive stupas and dagobas jutted out in the distance will bring the surreal experience to your tour. most sightseeing in Anuradhapura concerns archeological sites and exquisite masonry . so you will visit Sri Maha Bodhi tree, Ruwanweliseya stupa, Abhayagiriya monastery, jethawanaramaya, lowamahapaya, thuparamaya, isurumuniya, Samadhi Buddha statue and Awkana Buddha statue.

Day 8Anuradhapura - Habarana

Today you will leave for another cultural – rich city, Habarana. 
The city considered as a convenient base to the main attractions such as national parks and many UNESCO World heritage sites. 
Once reach Habarana, you will set off to visit the world famous 5th Century Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of the island’s most awe-inspiring archaeological attractions. The fortress stands alone in the middle of jungle also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the fortress.  On its summit are the foundations of what was once a great and sumptuous palace and gardens complete with swimming pool. 
In the afternoon visit Polonnaruwa, the second capital city of Sri Lanka. Here you can see the ruins of the Royal Palace, temples and splendid statues of the Buddha.

Day 9Habarana - Kandy

After breakfast you will be collected to go to the yet another marvelous city- Kandy where Sri Lanka’s most sacred attraction, the temple of tooth relic situated. 
En-route visit Dambulla Golden cave temple, a wealth of UNESCO World heritage site’s history goes back to 1st century BC.  This complex of five cave’s walls and ceilings are covered with beautiful ancient Buddhist paintings, one of the largest extents of cave paintings found in the world. 
Followed by a fabulous trip to Knuckles range which is a truly experience of the natural beauty of the hill country. Handy your camera for incredible views and It’s an ideal trail to do bird watching as well. This wonderful range covers almost every forest type found in Sri Lanka at elevations ranging between 250 and 4,000 feet.
Stop atSpice Garden at Matale and see the luscious Cinnamons, Cardamoms, Pepper plants etc. You can also purchase your requirements of spices. Enjoy authentic – Sri Lankan cuisine made out of best of Sri Lankan spices .

Day 10In Kandy

In the morning, tour the Temple of the Tooth Relic
Thereafter visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya Today you will get the chance to visit the royal garden of early Sri Lanka. Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya is the Sri Lankan’s largest and finest garden. Originally established as a pleasure garden for Kandyan nobility, the British transformed it into botanical gardens in 1821, laying the foundations for what it has become today.
The city has lot to witness, so you will be going around and exploring the city, while gathering great experience to your journey.
In the evening visit the temple of tooth Relic ‘ Sri Lanka’s most prized possession. Take a tour around the picturesque lakeside city, and witness the majesty of the last kingdom of Sri Lanka.
When the sun is setting, it is the time to enjoy a unique cultural show, the best opportunity to witness the greatness of country’s rich tradition and culture.

Day 11Landy - Ella

Today you are going to have a one of the best memories of Sri Lankan tour. We will take you to Peradeniya railway station. From there board on to have a scenic train ride to Ella. Despite the time it takes enjoy the breathtaking view of mist-draped tea plantations and water falls, rolling mountains, clouds. It is all add to the picture perfect movie playing out in front of you.

Day 12In Ella

Today is the day you get chance to witness famous attractions among many tourists to Sri Lanka. So, you will be driven to Ella and visit 9 arches bridge, little Adam’s peak, Lipton’s seat and few waterfalls.

Day 13Ella - Colombo

Morning you’ll have private road transfer to Colombo. Enjoy the magnificent view of hill country as you pass.
