DAY01

Arrival and transfer to Colombo.
Overnight stay in Colombo.

DAY 02

Pickup from the hotel at 0630 hrs. and proceed to visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
Thereafter proceed to Anuradhapura and commence excursions.
Overnight stay in Anuradhapura.

DAY 03

After breakfast proceed to visit cave temples and a spice garden in Matale.
In the afternoon proceed to Sigiriya and climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Afterwards visit a Batik Factory where you can see the manufacture of beautiful Batik prints. The shop contains a wide variety of Batik items.
Overnight stay in Sigiriya

DAY 04

In the morning commence an elephant back safari in Habrana.
Thereafter return to polonnaruwa and commence excursions. En-route visiting a wood carving factory.
Overnight stay in Polonnaruwa.

DAY 05

After breakfast proceed to Mahiyanganaya. You will visit the Mahiyanganaya Veddas village enjoy some time in the village getting to know the life style of Veddas the primitive people of Sri Lanka.
Thereafter proceed to Kandy.
In the afternoon commence a city tour of Kandy including visiting a gem laboratory.
In the evening watch a cultural show featuring the exotic traditional dances of Sri Lanka.
Overnight stay in Kandy

DAY 06

After breakfast visit temple of the tooth relic.
Thereafter proceed to Nuwara Eliya, visiting a tea estate and a factory en route.
Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya .

DAY 07

After breakfast proceed to Yala.
4X4 Jeep safari at Yala National Park.
Overnight stay in Yala.

DAY 08

After breakfast transfer up to the beach or to the airport. En route visit the Fort in Galle, stilt fishermen in Weligama and turtle hatchery in Kosgoda.
